Scholarship Description: The MSRA Project Grant, Post Doctoral Fellowship, Postgraduate Scholarship, Summer Vacation Scholarship and Incubator Grants are awards made in support of either a biomedical or social and applied research project,within an Australian institution proposed by an appropriately qualified investigator. Unless otherwise stated each condition of award will apply. The project is to be consistent with the aim of MSRA and the work is to be approved by the host institution (including relevant ethics committees). The institution is responsible for administration of the award. Chief Investigators who are based overseas for the duration of the grant are not eligible to apply. No person funded by MSRA award can be regarded as an employee of MSRA. 1. Purpose of the grant The award of project grants is MSRA’s main avenue for the support of research relevant to multiple sclerosis in universities, hospitals or other recognised research institutions. Since these awards will normally be made for a period of two or three years only, the purpose is primarily to assist investigations in which considerable progress can be expected over this or a shorter period. MSRA does not intend to provide long term salaries for support staff.

Scholarship Description: The School of Modern Languages of the University of St Andrews is pleased to announce its programme of three one-year scholarships, each worth £5,000, to be awarded to suitably qualified candidates from the countries listed below for the academic year 2011-2012. The primary purpose of these scholarships is to enable students to complete a oneyear taught MLitt programme. While priority may be given to students applying to the MLitt programme in Spanish and Latin American Studies, those interested in any other taught MLitt programme offered by the School of Modern Languages will be given due consideration and are also encouraged to apply. All MLitt programmes involve two consecutive semesters of taught modules plus a period of research (from the beginning of June to the end of August) devoted to writing a 15,000-word dissertation under the supervision of a full-time academic member of staff. Scholarship Description: We offer awards totalling £250,000 every year, with each international scholarship worth £3,300. These are open to prospective full-time postgraduates in any subject area on a one-year taught masters degree. Scholarships are available for both September entry and January entry (for courses with a relevant start date).
You can apply online for scholarships for September 2011 entry. Please note that we cannot consider applications received after the deadline. Remember that the scholarships application procedure is separate from the admissions application procedure.  Before you begin your application, please make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria. Scholarship Description: Through gifts made by Kingston alumni to the Annual Fund1, the Development Office is offering a number of postgraduate scholarships for UK and EU students (classified as ‘Home’ for fees purposes). The aim is to: encourage academic excellence; and allow talented young graduates to continue to higher levels of learning and research. They are available for all courses (except teacher training/PCGE courses) and will pay 50% of the fees (up to £3,000) for a one-year, full-time or two-year, part-time masters programme.
