Eligibility:
The group is interested in hiring an enthusiastic candidate with a degree in Medicine/Molecular Biology/Immunology/Chemistry or a related discipline. The candidate should preferably have experience with NMR in addition to immunological, biochemical or molecular techniques. Personal qualities relevant for the position will also be taken into account.

Scholarship Description: The position is for a period of 3 years. The group is in the fore front of the characterisation of a novel adapter protein “T cell specifici adapter protein” or SH2D2A. The group identified this gene in human activated T cells and have examined the signal transduction pathways which are modulated by this protein in T cells.The purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a doctoral degree, and the appointment is conditional upon admission to the research-training programme of the Faculty of Medicine. An approved plan for the research training must be submitted no later than one month after taking up the position, and admission approved within three months
